RELIGIOUS EDUCATION COORDINATORRosario was born in El Paso, Texas. Her parents were both natives of Chihuahua, Mexico. Rosario moved to California when she was 8 years old and has lived in Oakland for over 40 years.
Rosario has been an employee of the Diocese of Oakland since 2016. She was the secretary of St. Patrick Catholic Church in West Oakland from 2016-2023. Since the summer of 2023 to date Rosario serves as Religious Education Coordinator at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She recently finished a 3-year program at the School of Pastoral Ministries.
Rosario enjoys learning about the Catholic Faith and reading the lives of the Saints. She meets weekly with a group of ladies to pray the rosary and read the daily readings. She loves spending quality time with her two youngest children living at home.
