Next weekend, June 3-4, will be the feast of Pentecost, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the disciples. It is a major feast of our church year. It brings the Easter season to a close and we begin the liturgical season of ordinary time. Our liturgical celebrations are ongoing events. May all of us experience a personal outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Joining us at the 10 AM Mass will be the Italian Cultural Foundation. We welcome them to our church as they celebrate the Catholic heritage of the Italian culture.

On this Memorial Day weekend, we as a country remember our deceased, especially those who died defending our country in war. May all the deceased play a special part in our prayer life this weekend.
