Fr. Bill will be in Florida preaching parish missions at two different parishes.  He will be at St. Sebastian in Ft. Lauderdale and St. John Neumann in Miami.  He will return March 23rd.  Please remember the members of these parishes in your prayers.

On Sunday, Feb. 26th, we had a very successful celebration of Mardi Gras.  The members of the fundraising committee worked very hard on this event and it showed.  I would like to thank all the members of that committee for all the effort they put out.  I would also like to thank all our members who supported this event by buying dinner and raffle tickets.  In the next bulleting, we will give you a fuller accounting of the financial success of this celebration.  Again, many, many thanks to the members of the committee.

Remember, your contributions to Rice Bowl helps those in need both globally and locally: 25% of the proceeds remain in the Oakland Diocese, with a portion being given out as grants to St. Vincent de Paul conferences and other organizations working to alleviate hunger and food insecurity in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.
