This weekend, Dec. 27th-28th, we will be distributing the parish calendars for 2016. We ask that you only take one per family so that we will have enough to go around. If after this weekend calendars are left over then you are invited to take additional calendars. Thank you for your cooperation.
On Saturday, Jan. 30th we will be registering those eligible for the sacrament of confirmation. Some months ago, various members signed up for this sacrament and this registration is the follow up to this effort. If you missed the initial sign up opportunity you can still register your son or daughter for confirmation.
Last weekend our fundraising committee organized a bake sale. The financial results turned out to be $890.00. Many of our members contributed to this success, but a special thanks goes out to Judy and Marie Rogers who spearheaded this effort. Our stomachs thank all who contributed!
On Sunday, Jan. 10th we will reinstate our pancake breakfast. Many appetites have been waiting a long time for these pancake breakfast's and now those hungers will be satisfied! Mark your calendars and more information to come.
The fundraising committee will continue to sell Christmas cards with pictures of our church at Christmas. They are 12 cards for a donation of $20 and are on sale in the back of the church.
On Saturday, December 19th, there will be a special benefit concert for the school at St. Mary's College in Moraga. It will be at 4:00 PM with a reception at 5:30 PM. Admisission is free. Come and get into the Christmas spirit in a great way.

On Tuesday, December 22nd, we will host a special celebration of the sacrament of reconciliation as part of the year of Mercy. Fr. Bill will explain later how this will be a special moment for all of us. Please mark your calendar's for this unique celebration of God's Mercy.
The Feast of the Immaculate Conception is a Holy Day of Obligation and will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 8th. Masses will be offered at 8:00am and 7:00pm. This day commemorates Mary's being conceived from original sin in the womb of her mother. Let us gather to honor Mary and pray for the needs of our nation.
