Thank you all for making the MLK Service Day Clean up a grand success. We had 25 people join us from the parish, from Oakland Military Institute, and neighbors who sign up through the city of Oakland portal.
We were able to collect over 18 bags of trash and some of the volunteers spent their time sweeping up the glass that was in the street and sidewalk along 40th street next to the church.

We all do it together, for we are the ‘Beloved Community’ as Dr. King would say.
