Over the Christmas holidays, Dr. Lazarus Agbowo, a long standing member of our parish, passed away.  Dr. Agbowo was not only a leader in our parish but also in the wider Nigerian community of our area.  Many are mourning his passing.

The arrangements are as follows:  On Friday, Feb. 22nd, there will be a viewing (2-4 PM), funeral Mass (4 PM) and repast at the Gemstone Hall, located at 24989 St. Clara St. in Hayward CA.  If you need the phone number it is 510 738 9656.  The reason this place was chosen is that it is big enough to accommodate all those whom we anticipate will attend.  We ask that you keep the Agbowo family in your prayers as they grieve the loss of Dr. Lazarus Agbowo.

We pray that his family be consoled and confident that their strength is in the Lord, and that He will see them through their grief. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
